The home of Omnium is ‘A Chele’, an extensive estate, set on a wooded hillside near the ancient walled city of Lucca, a short transfer from Pisa and Florence airports. Our ambition, simply put, is to provide a home from home atmosphere in a relaxed and beautiful setting combined with a seriously brilliant range of guided road cycling experiences..
It lies in the hills with stunning views over the valley and woodland towards Lucca. The property has been lovingly restored to a luxurious standard using original materials including cotto floors, chestnut beamed ceilings, and local Carrara marble.
The beautiful Versiliain Coast with its long golden sandy beaches are 30 minutes away, visible from many of our routes and also a place to rest and relax after the spectacular rides.
A Chele is a beautifully restored welcoming, and generously proportioned country house with open fires and accommodation for up to 16 guests, along with gym, fitness assessment and training facilities. The property also has an outdoor infinity edge swimming pool, and a beautiful loggia, commanding breathtaking views over the Tuscan countryside. It's the ultimate cycle holiday.
In nearby Lucca, a beautiful historic city, you will find plenty of restaurants and shops. This lively town is such a pleasure to visit, with narrow cobbled streets, stunning medieval architecture and of particular note the old ramparts which are now crowned with over 2 miles of parkland ideal for walking, cycling or just enjoying a picnic. Other towns in the region are within easy reach including Pisa, Siena and Florence.
After your amazing ride in the Tuscan mountains, hills and valleys, enjoy the tranquil setting of the beautiful swimming pool. Recover and relax in the landscaped gardens of A Chele.
Relax into the evening and enjoy the local Tuscan wine and food. Our chefs use local produce including our own outstanding 'olio bellissimo' olive oil from our olive groves on the estate. Taste our pizzas from our traditional pizza oven or you may wish to test your own pizza cookery skills with the help of our staff.
For those cyclists who are looking to take their cycling to another level in our Seriously Brilliant holiday camps your recovery will involve sport massage, nutrition advice and hydrotherapy. The recovery programmes are designed by our internationally renowned Sport Medicine staff.
